MAP OF HOLIDAY MARKET TOO!
Interest in Holiday Market Too has been terrific, and the first phase (in blue) is already 80% full - in less than a month! If vendor interest continues, we will grow into the green area and accomodate an additional 100 vendors.
If you haven’t already signed up, you might want to do so soon — once we “sell out” of the initial 36,000 sq. ft., we’re not going to commit to additional space unless there is sufficient participation to break-even on the increased venue expense.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is there an admission charge?
A: No, all of our markets are free admission to the public.
Q: I am already an approved Chattanooga Market vendor; do I need to apply again?
A: Yes; however, your entry will be fast-tracked as second product screening is not required.
Q: What does “producer-only” mean?
A: Simply put, it means that you made it; we do not allow for vendors to purchase a completed product and resale it at our events — in order to sell it, you must have made it or had a instrumental role in it’s creation, design, and/or existence.
Q: You have two different locations listed; what’s the difference?
A: Our traditional Holiday Market is held outdoors at the First Tennessee Pavilion during the first weekend of December; this event is always sold-out by existing Chattanooga Market vendors who regularly attend other market events throughout the year.
In 2010, we created Holiday Market Too! to extend the season to an indoor (warm!) setting; we quickly sold-out of space, and this year have moved into the largest upscale facility Chattanooga offers: the Chattanooga Trade & Convention Center.
Q: I can only attend XX date(s); is that a problem?
A: In order to simplify vendor setup/breakdown, we will give priority to vendors who intend to participate during dates dates, followed by vendors attending for one or two weekends only.
Q: I’ve never participated in a Chattanooga Market event before; will there be room for me?
A: We should have room for you during our indoor Holiday Market Too! events; it is unlikely that we will have space remaining for new vendors during our outdoor festival.
Q: How many visitors/vendors/etc will there be? Sales expectations?
A: The Chattanooga Market has annual crowds of over 400,000, and posted annual vendor sales in excess of $2 million in 2011. The Holiday Markets are traditionally a very strong segment of our season.
In 2011, our vendors posted sales in excess of $250k during our Holiday Markets. This season, we are extending the festival by another week and shifting the dates to better align with observed customer traffic patterns (primarily Saturday/Sunday with one three-day weekend).
Q: Will I be able to keep my booth setup between the weekends?
A: Yes; the venue has agreed to allow everyone to remain in-place during the week (at your own risk).
Q: Do you share sales revenues or market status reports with your vendors?
A: Yes! In fact, anyone can review our vendor communications by visiting our vendor.web (look for “Chattanooga Market Headlines”)
Q: Will my product/service do well? Will I have any competitors? Can I be exclusive?
A: Not sure, not sure, probably not.
Q: How are these events advertised?
A: We use a variety of radio, newspapers, television, posters, billboards, online advertising, tourist kiosks, newsletters, direct mail and social media to spread word of our events throughout the year. Our marketing plan begins in March, and doesn’t concluded until the lights go out in late December.
Q: I have another question, how do I contact you?
A: You can ask a question through this website, email us at help @ chattanoogamarket.org or call 423.402.9960
Frommer’s names Chattanooga Market Top 10 in America!
Since opening in 2001, Chattanooga’s seasonal Sunday market has been one of the region’s best places to find hand-blown glass necklaces, homemade salsas, organic fruits and vegetables, and artwork sculpted from recycled materials. To ensure home-grown authenticity, the market requires all 350 active vendors to be both the sole producers and retailers of their goods.
Some of the market’s best features are their weekly themes, which have included an Oktoberfest celebration and a Father’s Day Brew & Bluegrass. The season finale (held each December) is always an art-centric holiday market.
Holiday Market Too!, our annual indoor market, is moving to the Chattanooga Convention Center this year! With over 100,000 sq. ft. of space available, this is certain to become the largest producer-only arts & crafts holiday festival in the region!
